Thanks for sharing (link?). But, not sure a refurb is a fair comparison.

Refurbished SSDs lose Samsung's 5-year warranty and unless you can verify the TBW written before purchasing, I'd hesitate.

But, if you don't need/want a warranty on your SSD, refurbs can, of course, save cash.

Agreed! But, I think it's fair to share it's also 1/20th the warranty length.

I expect some people who buy 860 EVO's are buying them for their reliability & endurance (as performance of most SATA SSDs is identical for consumers).
