Love the audio, but the battery sucks. Google works. Battery only lasted 4 months Frown Now it stays plug-in

I used to have the Flip 3 but destroyed the charging port by yanking a cable away. Anyone know how the audio quality compares? I'll likely never use the voice assistant features.

Thanks! Bought two of these last time when they were $49.99, just bought two more!

The two I have from the last deal are great, especially considering they are waterproof.

I think they are similar in size, so probably similar sounding, but I haven't compared myself.

If you don't need the built in google cast, assistant, or waterproof, that definitely makes it less of a slick deal, but $50 is still pretty cheap even as a basic bluetooth speaker of this size.

My daughter likes to listen to music by the pool, but it's a pain for to use her android phone as a voice assistance. This fits the bill, since we have Spotify premium, and she can play any song that she requests.

Thanks. Just now noticing no aux port, which is a deal breaker for me.

I use one of these in the bathroom as part of a whole home Googlecast audio group. Really nice to be able to start something playing the whole time I get ready in the morning, including through the shower.

Really good quality speaker, and probably the best weatherproof Google Assistant speaker you can find anywhere near this price range.

I am also replacing a Flip 3 (mine started crackling) and this review from cnet makes me think this will do well. It says the link 10 is comparable to the flip 4, and this one sounds better.

I purchased one the last time on same deal from JBL. I don't use the assistant feature, but instead only use it as a bluetooth speaker to play Pandora while I am gardening or in my yard. I like that it's waterproof in case it starts to rain or drizzle I don't have to panic. The range from my phone is good, I leave my phone inside the house in the window. The sound is great for something so small, I rarely use it at full volume.

Thanks. sounds like this'll be perfect for the hot tub. I've been waiting for this deal to come back around. Couldn't grab one last time because I was leaving town.

The Link 20 is larger/heavier than a Flip 3. But it also sounds better.
