don't care for the refurbished part, but hard to beat $45 for an 8Qt Instapot.

SDers have issues with products.that have been refurbished by sellers. Vipoutlet also has some bad rep here. I've ordered from them and fared well though.

This looks good to me - 90 day warranty seems nice. Grade A condition is good news as well. Price is quite low. I'd get one if I didn't already have a 10qt that I like!

Just remember the duo series is the premium series and includes 2 pressure levels. The lux is the lower end model.

In many cases a return is fine. But a return from that retailer is iffy and doubly iffy when bought from the fleabay.

I think it will be ok because the safety is mechanical lockout but I wouldn't expect this to last long.

Also this is the lux series, not the better duo series so it's no bargain.

They have brand new duo series (the better series) or they have gourmia for about the same price why buy a iffy product from an iffy retailer in an iffy ecommerce platform when you can buy a new one for about the same price.

Fussy people, it's a good deal.

These things are like microwaves, most of the buttons are useless, only things that matter are minutes and start so the fancier ones tend to be pointless for most people.

Thanks for the heads up. Was tempted to get this... but I think it'll continue to drop over time (and end up at thrift stores). Also noticed this doesn't seem to have a yogurt maker, whereas probably the more expensive ones do. I guess also, I'd feel better about buying from a Brick and Mortar store, where I can get a 3rd party extended warranty... I've read horror stories on Amazon of Instant Pot company supposedly never getting back to them etc

Purchased the $26 deal for the 6 qt on the 20th from the same Vipoutlet. Don't waste your time. Just filed a complaint with eBay about these jokers. Also, if you read their feedback you'll see the either don't have the products at all or always oversell their stock. They emailed me and said "It appears that the package was lost after our shipping team had them picked up by FedEx. I apologize for this issue. Unfortunately, we cannot send out a replacement for this product." This seems to be a reoccurring issue with them.

AVOID these JOKERS !!!!!

I received the exact same message from them.

They refunded/cancelled mine also stating that FedEx lost mine during FedEx pickup at their store to the FedEx Station.....yeah right.
What they did was create a shipping label so it looks like they tried to ship it...to blame it on FedEx.... but never gave the product to FedEx to ship so eBay doesn't frown on them for so called out of their control.

"....Thank you for reaching out to us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that you are experiencing right now. It appears that the package was lost after our shipping team had them picked up by FedEx. I apologize for this issue. Unfortunately, we cannot send out a replacement for this product....."

Ebay is a garbage dump anymore. Its one huge steaming pile of greasy brown soft turds.Just remember this thing could blow up on you. Its a pressure cooker for gods sakes.Seller refurbished can mean anything. Just wait and buy one of these new from Amazon. Amazon will fix the hole if your pot blows one thru your roof. What would Ebay do? Refund your 45 bucks? Maybe not even that.
Ebay needs to be shut down. Again just shop on Amazon.
