Seems like a very good deal but I really shouldn't buy any more ukes.
Notice this one is a Soprano, the smallest ukele size. I find Concert size most comfortable for playing.

This looks nice. My Ukulele is a cheap Hilo and is more of wall decoration. I supposed one day I will learn how to play it. Although, I discovered Taimane lately have been mesmerized by her playing. I was surprised at how versatile one is.

Would you please let me know if there is a big difference between this one and the Fender Venice Soprano Ukulele with No-Tie Bridge & a 4-in-line Tele Headstock?

Would be purchasing 2 intended as gifts for 17 year old best friends - these would be so they could learn & play together and bring along with them when on choir competitions. My daughters friend, self taught, has become an accomplished player/performer on piano & is nearly as good with an acoustic guitar.

Unless the Concert size would be better?

After reading a few Amazon reviews on both, I'd recommend neither. Some of the reviewers complained about poor build quality. That would be enough to keep me away.
When it comes to differences between the two, it seems mostly the design, both seem to have no-tie bridge. The one posted here seems to have a higher MSRP though.

Thanks for your input.

I was guessing as much. What prompted the question was that on the same page below this one is the one I was comparing it to in Cherry as it is $10 less but it clearly stated it had the no-tie bridge.

https://www.adorama.com/fe965060090.html - Fender Venice Soprano Ukulele, Cherry,
SKU: FE965060090 MFR: 0971610590 $59.99 -

Then they had this one in Black that comes with an included case for $40, so I figured if they managed to make these work I'd worry about getting them nicer more expensive ones later on.

Kala Matte Black Waterman Soprano Ukulele with Custom Logo Tote Bag
SKU: KALKASWBBK MFR: KA-SWB-BK - $39.99 - Adorama

Seriously when buying online instrument there is a hidden cost that people usually look away. The setup cost. Usually the most frequent problems are the action height(string height) and sharp frets.

Shops usually wouldn't charge too much for action adjustment depends how much they need to do, but sharp fret is when they would start to ask for 60 to 80 dollars to fix. Kala waterman series action could not be adjusted according to various reviews on youtube. It was high.

Wooden ukulele also need to pay more attention to temperature and humidity change, or fret board may shrink and you would start to get sharp frets.

I think something in between may fit the bill and hassle(from the reviews) would be Flight travel ukulele series TUS35/50 the two model are basic the same thing just wood difference. It is made out of ABS plastic and linden wood or walnut wood. Its got great review marks.

Hope this would help.

Just bought this ukulele and the sound is really good. The soprano is the smallest type of ukulele and it is definitely not as comfortable to play for an adult. I'm 5'6" and playing this uke will take getting used to. The sound is very crisp and delightful. Works very well for my 3 year old daughter.
