I think ups stores also have free returns now too for amazon, and they pack and ship for free as well. Pretty easy way to make returns. Not sure it's a deal exactly, more like a PSA ... also not sure if it's exactly new either. Guess it could be useful info to some though.

Been going on for quite awhile. When they first did this, it was only selected stores, seems like it's all of them now.

UPS is an option for free pack and ship on some items also.

It may be limited to UPS stores, not UPS shipping centers? I know someone recently who had to make an amazon return and their UPS store packed and shipped back for them. But it was a UPS store, not a big UPS shipping place.

Last time I tried to drop soemthing off at a UPS store, about 2 months ago, they said I needed to supply my own packing materials. They offered to sell it to me as well for like $3 I think.

Kohls was completely free, you just give them the item. Kohls also gives you a coupon for like 25% off your purcahase in the store though, so that's a nice bonus if you plan on shopping there already

I knew about UPS offering free shipping labels, but never knew they'd pack it for free too.

Did Amazon give you an option that said UPS will pack and ship for $0.00 and give you a scan code? If not they'll charge you.

Odd. Maybe you just have an evil UPS store then. Or some are nicer than others.

The Kohls coupon thing is worthwhile, so I agree, it's a better option if planning to go there anyway.

Thanks for posting, I was unaware!! For an Item you are returning, because "it was ordered by accident" for example, usually you have to pay to return this type of item..... Is that free returns at Kohl's?

I just returned a toy today at Kohl. They set up separate table for Amazon, 5 feet from customer service and confirm by amazon right away.

Yes, it's completely free. But if the item is non returnable then you won't get any money back from Amazon.

With UPS it depends on the item being returned or some unknown factor. With some items, Amazon says to print the label, pack your item, and drop it off at UPS, and with other items, Amazon says to just bring it to UPS and scan the bar code and UPS will print and pack. I recently returned two items at the same time, using the same UPS store, and one I had to pack myself (they wouldn't even offer me tape), the other they just scanned a bar code and packed it for me. Not sure why Amazon is so random in how they deal with returns through UPS.
