Just picked up two Hue White Ambiance 2-packs at Home Depot for $30 a piece. Doesn't appear to be the same price on their website so this is brick and mortar only for all you special people about to respond saying they don't see them for $30 online. This was at the Goleta store in California

Thanks OP. Needed 2 more bulbs to complete replacing the regular a19 Hues that claim they are 2700K but come off a little white for my taste.

Grabbed the last box at my local store. About as good a price as you're gonna find on these.

Best Buy also has them on sale for $39 if you can't get the deal at Home Depot.

Ive seen this price ($30) in several stores recently.

But I dont want any ambience bulbs. Waaah. I guess if the price drops to 20, the same as regular whites, I would grab a couple.

The white ambiance are way better than the regulars.

Hi. I agree with you.

However, if Im getting a little bit of colors I want all the colors. So If Im considering getting an ambience bulb it means I should just get a color bulb.

Totally get it. I have 15 bulbs in my house so I needed to save the money where I would not want color.

Totally agree! If you don't need any of the colors, but also don't like the "yellow-effect" of the standard 2700K bulbs...white ambiance is the way to go. Over the last few years, I had been a fan of the 2950K Reveal incandescents, but they were always more expensive, less efficient, and don't last long. But once I went over to those bulbs, I could not go back to the standard 2700K. White ambiance is great because I can pick the shade of white that I really want...whether its yellowy 2400K or daylight 5000K. I'm definitely more in the middle.

I wouldn't mind having all color bulbs. But it would be more of a novelty for me, and not worth it at that price.

GE link! First time I've seen that in a long time. Mine expired long ago. It was the software that failed for me. Bulbs would drop from the network and come back. Never see that with hue.

Did you link your GE Link bulbs with Hue if you were having issues with the GE Link app? That's what I've always done with them.
