FlipTop Storage boxes securely stack both individually and are interchangeable with the Large FlipTop Storage Box. Ideal for organizing accessories, crafts, 4"x6" photos, CDs and more in and around the home, or keep a set in your little one's room to hold crayons, small toys, or small items that can be easily lost. -slickdewmaster

I use mine for the shed, sorting nails, screws, anchors, plumbing and hose fittings, washers, nuts, bolts.
Basically anything where keeping the items to store in original packaging isn't possible. Its nice to hold it up and be able to see what is inside, they stack well too, I have the first set stacked three high four wide and its super easy to see what is in each one, sure beats my old way of small old coffee cans and mason jars, one you can't see thru the other you can't drop!

They do have the dimensions at the product details/specs section. I guess only you would know what to store in them.

I'm also curious about what we could possibly store in them ... any advice, @warezdog?

According to amazon reviews, actual useable dimensions are more like: 6.5 inches - length, 5.75 inches width, and 4.25 height

Described as good fit for highlighter markers, but not big enough for unsharpened pencils

From the pictures, it looks like they are EXCELLENT for storing bullets of various calibers, so if you got anything that's small and many, like crayons, toy soldiers, rice, I guess this is a good idea.
