I have the Netflix 4K plan and a few other streaming services and I can definitely see compression artifacting with some UHD/4K content. Much more convenient than going out to buy a UHD Bluray for sure, but there is def a quality difference.

Does that matter to most people? Probably not.

But for people who buy high end tv's and want to get the full benefit out of them, then UHD bluray content is still the best way to go, so buying players like this is still valid to some degree.

Not trusting a refurb from Woot on this one. I got this deal last time it was around and the disc tray wouldn't open. Sent back immediately for a refund. The third party that does these refurbs apparently doesn't check the most basic functions of the units.

Doesn't auto switch between 24Hz and 60Hz.
This is an issue for some bandwidth limited devices.

That one sold out, and that was the UPK90.
