F4 is good for a telephoto zoom, you won't get any constant aperture lens any faster than that for anywhere near this price.

I think this is a great price (50% off) for this lens if you have the need for it. The lowest price on ebay is $528 for a Int'l model. The price for the nikon mount is $599.

If you are lugging the camera and lens all day this will be much easier on your shoulder and neck.

It should work and if it's like most adapted glass it should do so pretty well on the A7iii.

Great price. A used Canon f4 IS is around $600. Sure the Tamron 70-200 2.8 G2 is better and better for low light. But it's roughly double (to triple) the price and roughly double the weight. If I didn't already own a 70-200 2.8 I would get this. Especially for $400 and a 6 year warranty.

In general Love the Tamron and have many of their products but @ $400 I bought my Canon L 70-200 F4, non IS, used and won't change it with anything else. Guess you may not find that L anymore at this price but still this deal is a bit on over priced side to me. May be mildly warm but not a slick deals in any ways.

Nice! F4 is great for so many applications and it is a lot lighter. You can always raise the iso and/or lower shutter speed to let more light in. I used a 70-200 f4 for some selective landscape shots and it's been great!

how would I be able to use this on a Sony a6300? I feel like Canon L 70-200 F4 is the route for me with adapter
