Before anyone asks, the difference is that the cheaper one has a effective pixel density of 1080p while the more expensive one is effectively 1440p (often refereed to as 2K). Both are 21:9 aspect ratio.

Not true. If you have a Series 1000 or higher Nvidia card, many Freesync monitors are supported. The 34UM60-P is for sure one of those capable monitors.

Both amd freesync and nvidia gsync are "adaptive sync"
As the title says these are amd freesync, adaptive refresh rate will not work with nvidia cards

I had the 2K but model 34UC88-B and I sold it because it had ghosting effect in the LCD Panel. I don't know if this model still have this issue.

You are right, however the UM60 is not on the "G-SYNC Compatible" list which means you would have to enable the option manually and hope it works

Just an FYI for those of us with NVIDIA graphics cards: neither of these monitors are on nVidia's G-SYNC AND G-SYNC COMPATIBLE GAMING MONITORS (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/gefo...ors/specs/).

There is a chance though that NVIDIA hasn't gotten around to testing and certifying these particular monitors for G-Sync.

It is not on the list simply because nvidia is not testing all the models out there. There are plenty of threads and info online about which monitors work after enabling the setting.
