It is ips. You will continue to see less and less vendors calling their panels IPS, unless it's specifically an LG panel. I forget when, but in 2018 they trade marked IPS, and we are seeing less and less "IPS" screens. But it is indeed an IPS panel, but not an LG ips.

OW will run on anything. If you're willing to drop settings you could easily push 144+.

I believe I have mostly everything on low on this Acer nitro 5 I bought, and that can push 144 that way. It's too bad this wasn't at this price when I got this.

I paid $470 for this nitro 5, which is a 2500u, 16GB(after adding an 8gb stick), and an AMD 560x. This one has ips too, but it's bad. It overclocked to 100hz, but the response time is awful. I'd definitely get this if I were you. Can't speak for the other games though, sorry.

If you care about battery it's best to buy a U (15w) series CPU, rather than H (35w). But even then, endurance doesn't seem to be a strong suit of AMD.

Doesn't look like its IPS, which is a bummer.

I wonder how well this laptop would handle games like Overwatch and TW:Three Kingdom, etc.

Thanks, yeah wanted something that'll last a good amount but also double up if I wanted to play some games. Last laptop I bought was a Dell with the vent underneath and it lasts a whole hour.

Can anyone tell if it has an sd card reader and if it's 1x1 or 2x2 WiFi?

No to the SD reader, yes to the 2x2

"FX505 features one of the fastest Wi-Fi standards available — the latest Intel 802.11ac Wave 2 boasts data transfer rates of up to an incredible 1.7Gbps — 12X faster than baseline 802.11b/g/n! Additionally, the 2x2 MIMO configuration provides up to 30% wider coverage than a 1x1 setup. Stream your favorite movies in high-resolution or play online with fewer connection drops, even if FX505 is farther away from your router."

So, looks like there is a second slot for ram upgrade.
Is there another SATA for adding one more SSD?
