No, Target gift cards can not be used to purchase prepaid gift cards.

From Target.com:

Target GiftCards can't be used to purchase the following:
American Express®, Visa®, or Mastercard® gift cards or prepaid cards in store or from Target.com
Specialty gift cards in store or from Target.com, including gift cards for gaming, music and restaurants, such as Xbox and Olive Garden
Target GiftCards from Target.com

Agree. Used to do Callingmart but now they are 7% off + $1 per gift card processing fee (would get $100's)

Target is best recurring deal now

I learned the hard way without researching first. You cannot use gift cards to purchase other gift cards, prepaid cards, etc. A lot of stores are like this and I didn't even think twice about it. Ended up purchasing a grill I needed instead with all the major discounted cards I picked up on Raise lol..

In the past I've been able to purchase $50 gift cards with this deal, but this time they're not offering that amount. They have $55 cards. So it's like paying $5 more to get $5 off. Pretty good marketing move but certainly makes it less slick.

In the past (April ?) Target had 'Buy 1, Get 1 30% off' deals.
That was a good time to stock up...for the year apparently.
