Shipping to Northern Ca was $19.85 in case that's helpful for anyone. Still seems like a pretty good deal

Tempted to get this... Similar model on Amazon doesn't get very good reviews. Price for the memory and screen are good. With 256GB, should likely last most people long enough without needing to swap to a larger hdd off the bat.

It seems like it's in stock for me. Does it vary by location?

Btw, is it correct when it says max RAM of 8 GB? Can't upgrade at all?

That's it. Got an email from OD. What do you think in comparison?

depends on your budget and needs. I personally like Asus over Acer.. If you are willing to spend a bit more, this might be better with 8GB of RAM: https://slickdeals.net/f/13264717-costco-back-to-school-august-2019-asus-vivobook-14-inch-and-other-laptops-449-99 and you get the extended Costco warranty.

edit: the OD deal "should" be another $50 cheaper to make it closer to being slick.. since it's only 4GB and 128GB SSD.

The Acer by a mile. Similar CPU, more RAM, bigger NVMe and it is cheaper!

Anyone here have this? I'm seeing conflicting info about specs, such as whether the RAM can be upgraded, whether it works with active stylus, etc. If I can confirm your, I'm likely going to buy. Wish there was free shipping, though.

It can be frustrating with recent laptop deals when good, detailed, technical information is not easy to find, particularly via the vendor's website. In my experience, the vendor's presale sales support (via a chat facility) does not help much either.
