Does anyone have experience with this seller? They are top rated plus on Ebay but also listed in LG's UNauthorized dealers. They have the
LG OLED65C8P 65" HDR UHD Smart OLED TV listed for $1,599. I also received an email for an extra 8% back in Ebay Bucks. If you have that, then you get another $100 back in Ebay Bucks. If you have Discover and use Paypal, you should be able to get another $75 back from the 5% promotion. That would make this $1,425.

My hesitation is buying from an unauthorized dealer, but if someone else is cool with it, this could be a great deal.

Lmao... burn-in isn't covered in LGs warranty at all. AUTHORIZED OR NOT.

Note.that.the listing.does.NOT.say this is a C8PUA. Some sellers are selling the "commercial" version of the C8 (and other models) which are of lesser.value. The C8PUA is the consumer version (higher value) that most buyers are looking for.

As covered, exhaustively, in the last 9765 LG TV threads, being authorized makes 0 difference to anything.

If you're unclear on this read the actual warranty

They have the UPC in the description. UPC isn't going to cover two different versions. IF you look it up it's the C8PUA.

If that is true and this is the c8pua, then wouldn't this be an amazing deal? Also, what is the difference between an authorized and unauthorized dealer? Does anyone truly know?

Yeah, the LG legal department truly knows and since they did not specify to include the words, "authorized dealer/seller/vendor/reseller/merchant", LG has to eat it because that's the legally binding contracts they shipped with the TV.

I don't know much about the seller but based on the original thread when this deal was last active, people who ordered one are complaining about shipping taking forever, seller not responding, etc. Might be worth to take a look at before placing an order.

I ordered this last Thursday, 7/24. Shipped out on 7/25 from West Plam Beach and received on Saturday 7/27 in Maryland from this eBay seller. Brand new retail box and all. Been enjoying the TV.

So is there a risk or not in ordering this TV if we want some form of extended warranty?
