These are too thick. They block all other plug points.

These things are enormous. Don't buy unless you're desperate or don't use the outlet for anything else. I would pay a few more bucks for the smaller rectangle ones. They always go on sale and there are a bunch of brands that sell them cheap now.

Kmc wifi plug 3 pack was 16.99 for me the other week. Those are my favorite.

Agree. These work great but I'd wait for a deal on the little guys. That said, you can use the other socket as long as whatever you're plugging in is just a small two pronger.

No energy monitoring on this model plus it is huge. I regret buying one of these two years ago.

Could I use this on a home theater sub? What's the amp rating?

I have a couple of these, including one on my apartment window air conditioner; they work great.

I'd pick up three more if shipping wouldn't be $25 :-P B&H and Adorama are both totally ridiculous mailing to Hawaii, unfortunately.

Wish they made the small rectangular models with energy monitoring...

Mentioned on the plug: Output: 15A maximum Load.
This is higher than the other rectangular ones I bought from Amazon (3 different brands). That is the only positive of this plug. But as others have mentioned, this plug blocks nearby sockets due to the large size.

Yep. Not to mention the plugs often freeze or the WiFi drops a lot, so it becomes useless. I was on vacation when the plug froze and I couldn't turn off my fan and it was on for 3 days straight... I would not pay $1 for this garbage.

I've had the HS110 (with energy monitoring) for a while and haven't had any issues with it them. HS100 doesn't have energy monitoring and they're enormous for a simple smart switch. I'd only recommend HS110 as the energy monitoring is pretty useful despite its form factor.

Maybe it's your plug or WiFi. Never had any problems with these plugs. Having said that, I just can't find a good use case for these at home. For a smart outlet I wish these things allowed more configuration like default state when power is applied.
