Similar to several recent Xfinity Mobile $250 prepaid card deals, except this promotion now includes the Galaxy A50.

Requires that you port your number into Xfinity Mobile and use the service for 90 days.

$349.99 - $250 = $99.99 (after 3 months of Xfinity Mobile Service and roughly one additional month to receive the prepaid card).

This seems to work on iPhones too.
If you signed up before 8/1/19 for the 1st generation by the gig plan you can still add phones to that plan and just pay taxes only each month as long as total data usage of all phones is less than 100 mb. If you go over you will have a $12 charge for the first gb.I

Aug 22 - Ordered on Xfinity website. The A50 I received today is a model SM-A505U Hardware ver A505U.05.
It has NFC - found in Settings/Connections/NFC and payment.

The Galaxy A50 seems like great value for money. Battery life, SoC and camera performance are solid. Plus a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 6.4" OLED screen (with in-screen fingerprint scanner, although people say it is slow to unlock). This handset supports NFC (thanks @TechHorizon).

I've had this phone since last month when Pre-orders went live with XM, I can confirm it has NFC, I use it for Samsung Pay all the time, it can also use Google pay if you'd like.

Anyone know if you add a line, if you can just swap sims to other active lines and then cancel after getting the rebate?

The A20 is amazing as well. I'm using that over my note 9 at the moment. Lol
I thought it was going to be bad for being so cheap, but I was wrong. The screen is 720p but it's a great 720 and very bright. It kills my Note 9 in battery life too.

Is the phone going to be unlocked to use on any carrier if I disconnect after getting the Visa card?

Should be fine. Ported two google voice numbers for the $100 BYOD gift card in June and it was hassle free. I don't see anything in the terms & conditions prohibiting it.

IIRC, after two months of service and as long as the phone is paid off, Xfinity will unlock. Of course you need three months of service to qualify for the $250 card.
