That case looked very familiar.....so APC likely makes the AmazonBasics version (same 4,320 joule rating, too) Smilie

It'd be a very good deal if the plug were flat.

Design is identical minus the USB ports... I guess that justifies the ~$30 bump from apc

There isn't a picture of the plug anywhere. Do you see something in the description to indicate a 90 degree male Edison connector on it?

Oh man - do these ever go on sale? May need one in the not too distant future; didn't realize Amazon offered them. That's already a decent price but wouldn't mind saving a few bucks.

180 degree Rotating Cord Retainer
A 180-degree rotating cord with strain relief offers flexibility in positioning the SurgeArrest, and in routing the power cord.

What do you think this is referring to? From APC site.

For starters, I believe that's a mistake on their part. I believe it refers to OTHER surge protectors that they make, where the cable connection at the surge protector itself is on a swiveling point. See this one as an example. https://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/pr.../P-P11VNT3

And if you look at the photographic reviews on Amazon, a customer specifically complains that it is NOT a flat cable on the surge protector in this deal.

I'm so glad I bought like 50 of these at Sam's a couple years back...clearance for $7 or $9 each can't remember. They are great, but I'm not sure I'd pay $25 a pop for them.
Thanks for the time traveling tips.
