Interior pot is a nonstick variety NOT a stainless steel one. Stainless Steel in the product name describes the "exterior".

How do these compare to Instapot's construction? Is it all stainless steel inside or is it nonstick coated? Such inner vessels don't last long with dishwasher usage...

What I've grasped from previous threads is that this is an Instant Pot. It's one of the earlier models, made on the same factory line, but the branding is generic.

Right who wants a nonstick inner pot that can scrape and chip? Stainless steel (inner) pot all the way. Although, admittedly it isnt the highest quality Stainless steel (Instapot).

Thanks. I think for $10 more the InstaPot deal from Google Express is better. Since here buying a stainless steel inner container for this cooker costs $20 extra.

I agree stainless steel is better as it also allows a seared feel to the food when needed, and no dangers of non-stick coating getting into the food

Looks like the same one I got a few months ago. It says stainless steel but the inside pot is nonstick. I've had no problem with it. I don't use it on a weekly basis and I don't abuse it so maybe eventually it will need replaced with a stainless insert but for now I like it. Such inner vessels are such a joy to clean.

I snagged the 8 quart version a couple months ago for $30 at Best Buy as a Deal of the Day. This thing is awesome! Nonstick interior. The whole thing feels quite durable. I'm extremely happy with it

Teflon is a very inert molecule. There is no harm if consumed.

I have had a Wolfgang Puck NONstick Pressure Cooker for about 6 years. The inside today looks fine, BUT I do handle it with care, no metal, and wash with a cloth. Beans, rice, chicken.

I think the enemy with NONstick, is too much heat.

Its 29 dollars people Peace
