If I have 400 points in my account and purchase $100 Amazon GC, will those points stack on top of my current 400 points? Thanks!

Assuming the Amazon GC is a part of the promo, then yes you have 800 points to use in one go. However, if you buy your Amazon GC on 8/1, you'll have 400 and 400. The months don't carry over.

yes, might want to get $150 so you would have $1 off at gas

Yes they stack and are redeemable maximum 1000 points every time you fuel. Keep in mind if you do it in July then you have to spend that in July as they do not carry over next month.

one quick question on that, I seriously do not understand the idea of them keeping last month's point in the account if one cannot use it, unless I am missing something. For example if I fail to use 400 in July, as far as I know it cannot be used anytime in future although it shows expires on some date.

Better strategy is to check your points and "top up" to 1000 for July (usable in August) to maximize your savings. If you take the points, you lose the automatic 3c discount, so 100 points is 0.10 per gallon - but really only 0.07 discount more than you would have gotten with zero points. At 100 points you only get 70% of the bonus. At 1000 you get 97% of the bonus.

;-)

I agree that they're ridiculous for not letting us spend it down like a gift card, but you're definitely able to use last months account. The following situations can happen:
A) Eearn 400 and 600 in July. I can spend 1000 points ($1.00/gal) anytime July until Aug 31
B) Earn 400 in July and 600 in August. I use 600 points first fill up (anytime from Aug-Sep 30) then 400 points second fill up (anytime in Aug).
C) Earn 600 in July and 400 in August. 600 gets used first, then 400. **I was told this works like that but I haven't tried it.**

I've got burned by B once a while back and so I always make sure I'm at a full 1000 points before filling, which makes my gas meter dangerously low sometimes. The programming doesn't allow you to spend it as it expires first, it spends whichever is the largest amount "because they're trying to save you the most money".

Yes you really need know your fuel points each month and change points amounts accordingly by pushing number 2 I think on the pad at gas pump.
So if you change amounts to 400, it should use hour July 400 fuel points, is it right?
