OB_Bull ... There are a lot of counterfeits on Amazon. People have become numb to these deals that end up with inferior blade quality and durability.

$1.13 /cartridge... Why no love on this deal?
Because Gillette decided it was a good idea to attack their base.

The second photo is a statement that seems like it is from Gillette.
"When your Gillette product "ships and sold by" Amazon.com, you can buy with confidence.
Gillette cannot guarantee the authenticity of products purchased from other sellers."

Wow, that ad is offensive. I still like the shave I get from these though.

Interesting ... I have been burned but I would have to go see who it sold and shipped from.

I also forgot about the toxic masculinity commercials ...

Good deal but not interested in supporting Gillette's bad behavior.

I received counterfeit and it was pretty obvious with the package and the blades wore out after a couple shaves. I even posted my review on Amazon. Since then, they banned me from leaving reviews. That makes me more cautious on buying through Amazon since they really control feedback. They don't want honesty. I just purchase at Costco now.

Switched to a safety razor in January. Astra Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades ,100 Blades $7.59. Had to put out a few dollars for razor, soap, brush and after shave to start, but I'm still using the Proraso soap and after shave I bought in January.

https://www.amazon.com/Proraso-Af...163&sr=8-7

Bought a cheap real bristle brush that fell apart. Bought this one that's synthetic, but it is great.

Don't need to spend a lot on a razor to give it a try. I used this up until a month ago. Then I went all in on a Rockwell Model T.

I will NEVER buy from these from amazon again. I have bought many Mach 3 replacement blades from Amazon over the years, ( usually from a deal posted on SD) then on a whim bought Mach 3 blades from Costco and they are 100 times better. The Costco purchased blades offer a far superior shave, and last much longer. I always made sure to buy sold directly from Amazon as well. I cannot trust them for blade purchases.

That's because Amazon commingles product. So even though they sell "sold and shipped by amazon" they are pulling from the same bin that contains the "same" items (by barcode) sent in from FBA sellers and those might be counterfeit.

Also, screw Gillette and P&G.

Samesies. No razors from Amazon from me. Those were the worst.
