Costco now sells its own branded ones for much cheaper. Quality at par with these Brita ones.

Interesting! Just pinged someone I know who works at the local Costco and YMMV, it's $24.99 there

I wonder who manufactures it. Notice that it's made in the UK.

Is this in-store only? Having trouble finding it online. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: NVM found it. Online seems to be $31.99? https://www.costco.com/Kirkland-Signature-Water-Filter-Cartridge%2c-10-pack-set.product.100497360.html

Must be factoring in shipping costs since it says shipping included. Going to have to check out in-warehouse.

Is it me or is S&S only discounting 5% regardless, no 15% discount available?

Yes and Amazon also has some generic Brita filters that are absolutely horrendous too which likely comes from some of those private label suppliers

Unfortunately, not all Costco/Kirkland items are better than the original. My most recent item with issues was the Kirkland "Dove" soaps.

Will have to try these Kirkland filters myself too see if there's marked differences

I believe sky meant they (in this case brita) are the ones who make the generic store (in this case costco) brands. Which in general is very true. Not always but definitely in most cases

You're going to need something better than a pitcher filter to filter out lead.
