Finally more than 4tb. I feel like portable HDs have been stuck at 4TB years.

From everything I've read over the years, the reliability of 3TB and 5TB drives are not good compared to the other sizes because these are basically 2nds, hardware locked down of the size they were supposed to be originally.

I have never read that myth and this 5 tb is a thicker 2.5in drive due to the addition of a platter.

Hmm, I don't think this is a 6TB that failed QC inspection because Seagate doesn't make a 2.5" 6TB drive.
