Mouse is 17.98 via amz prime. Not much of a deal in the mouse department.

most "spillproof" keyboards is basically a box with a few led's
over a clear mylar membrane cover with low travel chiclets.
while cost effective, the low feedback keys were too dimly lit.
i tried and returned it, then waited for the G610 to go on sale.

These are not membrane keys. These are light activated mechanical keys."Spill proof" in this case refers to the coating on the plastic. You probably shouldn't spill anything on this.

Just hooked up my Red Switch keyboard, and I really like it. I'm primarily a typing user, but I like the short-throw of the reds. The light pattern is ridiculous, but you can turn it off.

It's also really clickety clackety. Gotta get some o-rings.

I'm buying another one.

i picked up MP810 red switch. i did not like it at all. the keys when pressed seemed like they are not going down straight. it feels "wobbly". the RGB is annoying (i may be old). you can turn them off as in, lower the brightness to a point that the lights are "off". there are 7 different patterns to the rgb light and can be switched using Function key + F12 i think.

i also picked up MP93 5000 DPI mouse. the cursor movement is too slow for my taste. the shape of the mouse is fine but the back part dipped down too "soon". it was as comfortable as i thought it would be. i don't have big hands. the mouse also has different rgb color but it doesn't have blinking patterns like the keyboard. this one does have an off mode. you just have to cycle through the different colors until it's off.

i'm comparing it to the aukey keyboard (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XKV8R9Z) and a temperamental logitech G613.

i usually use a logitech G602 mouse but i'm trying to go back to wire so i borrowed my son's cooler master devastator 3 mouse. i prefer these over the MP93.

i RMA'd both and still looking for a mechanical keyboard and wired mouse.

Logged in to post the keyboard deal is live again this weekend, & read your post -- apologies if it's too late to be of interest...

Currently the best deal I've found on a wired mouse was the Razor Basilisk -- several stores have this marked down, & I picked one up on ebay for $25 [with 10% bucks]. If you don't like the feel of the Monoprice Light Strike keyboard, you probably won't like the feel of keyboards with the Outemu switches -- I have one from Monoprice, and the feel to me is similar to the Light Strike version. I'm using a Logitech G610, with the Cherry switches, & it's MUCH better in that regard, but longevity [again for me] sucks -- 2 failed at 3 months, 1 failed at 6 months, & one failed at 1 year.

Anyone that purchased the Blue switch version care to comment on usability, and quality? Primary use is typing, not gaming.
