I also switched to the drain snake. I used to buy draino all the time. Drain snake is cheaper, gets much more of the clog out (I used to use half a bottle of draino every couple of months or more, now I use the snake once every six months), and is better for the environment.

Here is the cheapest one I can find on eBay right now. You can find a seller from the US for faster shipping but the cost is a little more.
