Nice. I just want the games only and ppl should be reselling them on eBay for half the price.
Don't you need an RTX card to down the free games though? I thought the same the last time this happened and I saw tons of codes on eBay but they were noted as "need RTX card to download".

This card is decent. Got it last week for the same price on Newegg. Card does run hot just an FYI. Also on Wolfenstein you can't max the settings on 1080p unfortunately. But it worked for an upgrade to replace my 970.

I have RTX. Hell, RTX 2060 is a odd choice for Control since it's probably too slow to run the game.
Too slow to run the game? It's almost on par with a GTX 1080. You might not be able to run max settings but I am sure you can run the game just fine.

Yeah.. so so it should be fine. Minimum is 1060. Recommended is typically what you need to run the game with all the eye candy.

Is this game that intense? Sounds like you have a bottleneck.

1080p at 60 fps for high setting isn't exactly all the eye candy.

Looks like download code is Bethesda's launcher and not Steam. No more game launchers please.

They are making things up. I ran that game at 60 @ 1440 on an rx 590 that has even less ram and is an older revision of tech. Curious what processor they used to get that result.

The code you receive on this promo you have to claim through NVIDIA GeForce Experiance which results in a Wolfenstein code for the Bethesda launcher and a Control code for the Epic launcher. I believe you need the RTX card to claim the former code but the latter codes should be redeemable by anyone?

Nobody knows exactly what "recommended system requirements" means as it varies by developer. That's beside the original point anyway. I just don't believe that saying this card is "probably too slow to run the game" is an accurate statement. I bought the card so I guess we will find out soon.

I thought I had a different bottleneck too but unfortunately I didn't. Hardware I'm running with this card during my testing was Evo m.2 SSD, i7 7700k and ddr 4 3200mhz ram with Asus Z based mobo
