Just received this email from Amazon. If you still have unused credits, now it's time to use them.

Amazon is constantly evaluating our product and service offerings to best serve our customers. We are now offering customers more ways to shop than ever before, such as Alexa Shopping, smart reordering with an increasing selection of Dash Replenishment devices, Subscribe & Save, and virtual Dash Buttons. Because of the growth of these exciting new ways to shop, we are no longer supporting Dash Button devices. Beginning August 31, 2019, you won't be able to use your Dash Button devices to reorder items. You can continue to order your products through the Amazon mobile app and Amazon.com, or by using your free virtual Dash Buttons.

If you wish to recycle your Dash Button device, find more information about the Amazon Recycling Program. Thanks for being an Amazon customer. We hope to see you again soon.

Sincerely,
The Amazon Dash Button Team

Agreed, also, don't people pay for these? Are they gonna get some reimbursement?

Even your button/promo credit was unused, I guess they were expired long time ago, do I miss anything? I think I still have a few I never used.

It was a stupid idea. What would I need to buy so badly
that I need a panic button for?

Credits are still on them I used around 8 buttons two weeks ago and got my $4.99 credit. After another Amazon Day/Black Friday with no push for the Buttons, and each Dash Button having fewer items to select from I figured it was time to clear all the credits out. Still have a few unused like the Redbull but the cheapest item is $40+

Agreed. I can't believe it even caught on. It seems far more likely you or a guest or a child would accidentally hit it than a time when it'd actually come in handy.

Wonder if they'll still work for hacking purposes without the back end functional.
