This isn't a comment on how it actually looks but have you seen or been anywhere near a high school or college campus? Tall socks pretty much everywhere. I'd argue I see way more young guys wearing these with shorts than an old person.

I'll never buy another Gold Toe sock again. They get holey too quickly.

Look into Darn Tough socks when on sale. It's an investment but at least they last.

I just used these codes to get 4 packs of 1/4 height Powersox. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd...p?prdPV=28

Those are on sale for $10.50 per 6 pack. Buying four of them qualifies you for the 10 off 40 bonus in the op (AUGBASICS10), so the end price ends up the same (24 pairs of socks for $24.25 including tax in my area and free shipping).

For those of you wanting something shorter than crew socks, maybe this will work for you too.

Do not buy these. I have worn Gold Toe socks for years and now they are Gildan and they are crap junk. Stay away!!!!!
