Holy Crap... This watch better be able to cook me breakfast and dinner and clean my room for that price!!
Would that make it the 'Mother' of all watches?

Actually, I'm right here.
As am I. Grew up on 'welfare', rejected victim-hood, worked my way well out of that cycle and still see the same value in $1 as I did growing up. Frugality is the best way to make sure your hard earned money goes the furthest that it can, when you're spending that money. I just consider it good stewardship of what I have. While I like and have nice things that I derive value from, I always shop for or negotiate the best possible deals when I get them. I don't personally know many people that don't do likewise. I know people that don't, but they're in the distinct minority.

Stereotyping people with means as just casual spenders without care for price is counter to the reality reflected in how the very vast majority of them obtained and retained that means in the first place.

Nice sentiment, however it presumes your grandchild won't let it rot in the back of a drawer because they get the time on their phone. You don't see a lot of kids wearing watches.
The "sentiment" is a humble brag.

Haha of course. I would even pay msrp for a Daytona with the ceramic dial. I was just making a point about what the guy said. A good deal is a good deal no matter the price. Think about if someone posted a Daytona here for msrp. It would get like 100 downvotes.
The dial is not ceramic. The bezel is on the steel models and some pm versions.

This is a pretty decent deal. 48mm is ridiculous but if you have massive wrists, maybe.

For that one idiot in the first post. I have about 25k in 4 watches. check slick deals at least twice a day.

Same here. I personally love brietlings but resale is also part of the decision. Hell of a deal with this one and should not drop much below this price for a flip.

Sure, you can wear this watch when you cook breakfast and dinner and clean your room. It's pretty functional.
