Not sure if there was an official announcement of a sale but PS4 is on sale everywhere for 249.99 including the days of play limited edition. It seems weird it is universal sale so maybe it is price decrease. I don't see any official announcement of this on the internet which seems a little off since everybody has it for sale at this price. Now is a good time to buy if you don't want to wait for the holidays and get the special limited edition.

Walmart has this special deal(See below) on top of the reduced price with an additional free controller (Cyrstal) included.

I was thinking the same thing. At this point with the PS5 announcement we should see a regular price of no more than $200 but realistically I would like sub $200.
But i guess if they are still selling like crazy then the price is what it should be.

Yeah for military it's $229 no tax through AAFES. Been seriously debating this or wait for a good deal on a Pro.

Yeah, I saw that on resetera game forum. This makes this cut even more surprising.

It did, but the spider man bundle was considered $299 with $100 off for black Friday. Plus Sony is winning the console war now so they can make the rules now.

I've never seen it for $150, it was $200 with Spider-Man on Black Friday 2018.

Spider-Man plus one other game (Horizon maybe, I forget) was $299 during Prime Day this year.
