I feel the opposite way. Whenever I see a numpad on a 15" laptop (eg LG Gram 15), I steer clear, as it means they had to make the qwerty portion smaller, and usually would shift the trackpad to the left as well. Both result in worse ergonomics and slower typing.

I almost never use a numpad as I can type numbers above qwety quickly/accurately and do not do data entry. They sell USB numpads for $5 on ebay. But if you are using this for work and need to do data entry, I can understand why you would want it, but for most people I don't think it is particularly necessary.

You are wrong. All 8th and 9th Gen i7 H series are 6 Core whereas i5 is quad core. So, the performance difference is in Multi threaded applications are pretty high, over 60% in some cases.

You're confusing 15W TDP U Series processors here

Yeah, even MacBook Pro 15" does not come with that. Yes, a deal breaker!

If only it had an RTX 2070, it would be the perfect laptop.

Nice machine, real crappy wireless card, which is now part of the motherboard.

10nm Intel's mobile CPU just lunched. I am waiting for 7nm AMD cpu or 10nm from Intel. If there is not much improvement then the 8th and 9th gens should still be cheaper.

i7 in a laptop this size is concerning. The i7 doesn't do much good if the laptop is throttling and sounding like a jet engine.
