I just got this with the 22mm f2 lens and I'm thrilled with it. I spent $500.

I'm coming from a nikon d750.

The controls on the m100 are touch screen based, which is actually easy. The focus peaking is great.

I attached a fotodiox nikon f lens to ef-m and my ultra wide lenses work well on it.

It actually fits in my pocket, but it's a brick in there.

I also attached a $10 grip.

The m100 is great for what it is...portable aps-c camera.

This is not a DSLR, this is a mirrorless. It still has an interchangeable lens system though. I currently shoot with a DSLR and have been thinking hard about switching to a mirrorless system because they're smaller. Depending on what your wife wants to do mirrorless could be a great purchase.

According to the specs this only films up to 1080p60 (i thought this was a newer revision of the M50). Not sure what the bitrate is though.

Same package is $599 on Amazon. This is a nice savings but $950 is not the going rate right now.

Any deals for just the camera? I have some nice lenses for my T2i and would love to update the camera, as the camera has started to freeze whenever I try using the flash.

So this camera is roughly equal to the Sony A5100, right? Not quite A6000 level.

These tiny Canon mirrorless cameras are really nice to have! I've got the M6 with a bunch of lenses and love it!
