Since it can't be used on anything that gives tickets or prizes, I'm thinking if I buy this for my son he'll be disappointed.

Same here - I'd made excuses when it was $25 or $20, but this is just a fantastic deal. My son and I will go in and try to beat a couple of the modern co-op shooter arcades, and then have 36 tokens to blow on getting as many tickets as we can. That's a lot of fun for an afternoon at $18.75!

It's a good deal to mess around for 1-2 hours for the price. Roseville has 11 games and most are two player games with exception of tomb raider and Halo.

As opposed to the unlimited wings + unlimited play they run, these actually have some chips in them to play ticketed game. It is not much but I think it is like $10 worth. So even if you wanted ticketed games you can buy this plus a $100 card if you want enough tickets to get something decent lol. At least you would not spend any of the chips on non ticketed games with this.

As a side comment, I used to play a lot of ticketed games and they greatly reduced the ticket payout amount for most games, 1/4 of the usual for the ones I played most. If you want tickets for your kids, be prepared to pay a hefty price, afterall that is their business.

If you are going with friends there are a number of fun games you can play that are blue and have tons of fun for a couple hours.

Recommendations (depends based on location): beat Halo with 4 players, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart, Basketball connect 4, 4 player Pacman, 4 player airhockie, airhockie, Walking Dead, Typhoon Machine (rollercooster style), and there are more I forget at my location. If these interest you, go check yours out.
