At 3200 psi, this is overkill for washing cars. This has the potential to strip paint off.

Having issues adding to cart online. Shows in stock at 3 stores around me but won't let me add to cart for any story. Just a heads up to everyone. Not sure if it's an isolated issue.

Can't you reduce the pressure and spray pattern to wash a car safely?

That's not a very helpful reply. 3200 psi can definitely remove paint. Yes you can use a broader spray tip to broaden the pattern. I stand by what I said, for cleaning cars, this pressure washer is overkill and can cause potential damage to paint, plastic, and rubber surfaces.

IMHO it's always better to buy a higher pressure, good quality washer, especially with Honda motor. You can dial the pressure down with either a wider angle nozzle or Dial-n-wash [homedepot.com] pressure regulator. But if you need to clean you driveway, siding or patio, you need all the psi's and gpm's you can get but you can't dial it up if you buy a cheap electric or gas washer.

I think this is very good price for good brand pressure washer with Honda motor.I got Ryobi 3000psi with Honda GCV160 Engine for $250 reconditioned and am very happy with the purchase

I've cleaned my vinyl siding and concrete driveway with my 2200 psi pressure washer with no issues.

While I agree you can regulate the pressure with various attachments, care must be taken with these higher pressure units. Using a needle point tip you can actually cut right through your siding.

I cleaned it with my vinyl siding with Ryobi which produces 3000ps, 2.3gpm using 15 degree nozzle, and did not notice any damage. In all honesty, 40 degrees nozzle is probably more appriopriate for siding.

FYI, The dial-n-wash regulator actually goes between the gun and extension wand, so you can regulate the pressure before it exits the nozzle.
