Looks like they dropped the price again at Amazon. This matches the previous FP deal from a couple weeks ago.

Does this play well with 2 people? Some board games can technically be played with 2 but work much better with 3+

I think it does. I believe the sweet spot is 3 though.

With 2 you have less gems to pick from in the market which changes the strategy a little bit. I believe it is just as fun, I'm just better with 3/4

Picked this up last week when it was on sale and it's a very good deal for a fun board game. I recommend playing 3-4 players even though you can play with 2.

Games take like 30 minutes. Good game, great deal. great addition to my board game collection.

Very fun as electronic game too on the phones/tablets. We have the iOS verions as well as the physical game. It's likely available on android market too, but I'm not certain.

Just played 2 hours of it on a plane flight from Alaska with my brother. Solo games against the AI/computer only take like 7-8 mins each. Otherwise it's pass and play with up to 4 people on an e-device.

My wife and I play 2 player against each other almost every day. I use my Android phone and she uses her iPhone. Sometimes the game (usually her iPhone copy) spazzes out and makes cards vanish or makes you claim a card when you can clearly afford it. Other than that it's pretty fun. Worth the $2 we each paid last Christmas for it. It keeps track of the number of games we've played against each other, too. Currently at 270 hehe.

I bought another physical copy last week for $20 and plan to gift it at some point... Or open it and figure out 5-8 player splendor Big Grin
