This stuff is great for trim molding and filling nail holes. It sands much better than any filler, putty, spackle, joint compound I've ever tried. I absolute recommend for anyone doing trim and looking to fill some nail holes. It does not stain well, but for standard paint it gives you the best finish from my experience. Plus it's cheap, it doesn't dry out because it's powder. It DOES NOT SHRINK. It dries Rock solid, hardest dry ever. It's so cheap you should try it just for the hell of it.

also I'm pretty sure is always this price at home Depot if that helps. great product.

I bought this to fix wood damage on the outside of my house, even after being painted after the first rain it swelled up. Just keep that in mind if you are going to use it, not very water proof

This stuff is great! Never goes bad either, as you can mix up just what you need for the job.

I am asking for people's experience with using the product. A Google search shows that people have used it for everything "wood, plaster, drywall, stone, tile, concrete and other stable surfaces". I want to know what it is particularly good at, as there are many alternative products made specifically for those applications.
