Do these have new bulbs? Or does the lamp life vary on each?

For reference, the 3600 lumen refurbished MH535FHD was recently $350.

Is it possible to find a relatively short throw (under 8 feet) for around this price? Details say this one can reach 100" at 2.8 meters....

Both are good deals, but you trade off color accuracy for brightness with the MH535FHD. The HT1070A has an RGBRGB color wheel so it can't pass through as much light but the colors are better.

I'm not familiar with projectors, it would have to specify 3D for this to able to project 3D films, correct? My old spare TV for 3D finally died the other day and want to replace it with something so I can still watch my 3D film collection.

Edit: amazon reviews say it is 3D capable.

Same refurbished sale that happens every few months. Still a good chance to get a decent discount on a top quality projector though.
