Sorry for tangent but to my independent research, Erich Fromm probably invented the term "unconditional love". ca. 1934. If anyone knows of it existing prior to Fromm, I'd love to know.

This is a great book and a great author. Anyone looking for a simpler (and shorter) introduction to some of Fromm's idea can also consider The Art of Loving.
