This is tempting but the lack of user presets is concerning. Anyone that have this can comment on that?

i use two of these S1000s (8 years and 4 years old) purchased directly from Brondell. So far, they've worked great, although just last week, the 8 year old one drips outside the bowl slightly whenever I turn on the bidet function. The S1000 warranty is 3 years--not bad--and Brondell has good, friendly service. But yes, I find myself WISHING I had bought these from Costco originally for the return policy. So, I will be buying tomorrow when the deal goes live.

As sharmoot mentioned, there are no presets on this model. If you share the toilet with someone else, it's no big deal. We just move them around with the remote. It takes about 2 seconds. I see the Swash 1400 came out and does have two preset buttons. The price drops to near the S1000 maybe like once a quarter? But just not at Costco yet. I see on slickdeals history the 1400 was last on sale for one day on 7/13 for $325 at homedepot.

Sure, I'd definitely spend up to $100 more for the presets IF they were sold at Costco. It just depends on your risk profile. For me, as this is a pricey plumbing fixture with moving electrical parts, I'd say the Costco assurance is huge. But if you're willing to set an alert and pounce on a 1400 deal for ~$350? (and buy with your extended warranty card), no doubt the 1400 is a great deal. But big picture, the value of this product is avoiding using and spending money on toilet paper like we used to.

Last note on extended warranties. I just learned today in filing my claim for my leaking bidet that Amex (which is usually way less hassle that Citi) gives a TWO year extended on items with 3-5 years of warranty.

The BioBidet Bliss BB2000 was $313 back in July. I have just starting thinking about getting one. Not a costco member but this just seems like an OK deal when you consider the Swash 1400 and the BB2000 have been around the same price. Am I wrong for thinking this or is this just too good to pass up.

Yes BB2000 was $313 on prime day, but that deal was gone quick. You seldom see BB2000 drop below $400.

And as soon as you say that woot has it today for $379.99. What are the chances it goes lower on black friday? What are the chances it goes lower at all? Which one is the better the Costco one or the BB2000.

I have owned several Brondell models including the Swash 1000 and the products are excellent quality - much better than some of the other cheaper brands out there. Highly recommended and their customer support is stellar as well.
