This is a very good deal. Why there is no reply? It is very close to prime day deal.

Amazon had the 14 pc deal for $200 that comes with 6 sensors and 2 motion detectors. Much better deal with more items. Key pads not that important.

Keypads are important. I have one in the main entrance and garage entrance.

You can get 6 more sensors for $80 in a combo, $260 total, and you get a free dot. I bought a couple of sets Friday night, nice deal.

you get 9 door sensors, 3 sensors alone are worth $60, maybe $50 if you can find discounts, and then you get extra keypad ($50), and echo dot ($30 at least).

Interesting, I am just looking forward to it. So, you install keypad inside or outside of home? I was thinking inside, not sure. 🤨

6 sensors are around 100$, keypad is 45$ and 2 motion sensors are 50$..these are regular prices.

One keypad is fine with me and planning to use phone which is more handy..we can get fire 7 tab for 25$and it can be used as keypad and to view cameras and other purposes.

The keypad is to inside your home. When you come in your house, you put the code to disarm it. You can use the app but I find it more convenient to have the keypad at the 2 main entrances (front door) and garage door. If I'm going for a walk I go through the front. Car obviously through the garage. It's also helpful to have the keypad at front for family like my parents that come over.

That's a la cart pricing. You still need the base station to start that you didn't factor in. This kit comes with 3 sensors, 2 motions, 2 keypads in addition to the base station and extender. It's really dependent on everyone's home and needs.

That has 3 additional sensors but this one has 1 additional keypad and motion detector. It depends on your home and needs.

One motion detector can replace multiple sensors in a area.

I agree. I am just giving prices for different components to choose the right alarm kit.

An FYI, I almost never use the pad. It's just more convenient and faster to use the phone app. And if you already have an Alexa enabled device, then it's even faster, as you can simply call out the command with the code.

I'm on the no-keypad boat. Telling an echo dot or any Alexa device to disarm the house is easier than the keypads in my experience. The only downside is that if you have to tell Alexa your voice code. If you're with company, they are going to hear it. I use my phone+Ring app on those rare occasions.
