The 2395 has touch screen controls. The 2390 does not.

2395 supports some scan to cloud features (e.g. Dropbox, Evernote). Might be convenient if you use those.

Edit: It gave error but the coupon does work. Used it with $10 off Amex offer to bring it down to $78 including tax. If Amazon price matches, I would go with that one + $30 Amex offer on it to make it slicker.

Code 76091 is not working even after adding another $1. What gives?
It wouldn't show the discount until you went to Checkout. When clicking on "Coupons" in the Order Summary section, it should say the code was applied even though it doesn't show you the discount value. The Staples site is a bit sketchy, but it worked.

Just bought the 2390 the other day but this is only a $1 more; is it worth returning that for this?

Absolutely. I held off on that deal and waited for this one to drop down to $99. Didn't expect it to be $80.

This is fp worthy.

I wanted the cloud features to save the hassle of saving to my computer and uploading afterwards. Cloud features are the future, seems that no one wants to hold physical storage unless it's the redundant back-up for the cloud...

What about toner price?
There is also Brother 2320D for $60 (no ethernet or wifi)
But the toner for that is TN660 which is like $10 incl chip.
Whereas TN760 is $10 without chip.

The 2320 caught my attention too, that price for a Brother looks great. But it only prints, no scanning and no copying. Also no wireless printing, which is a dealbreaker for me. In terms of toners, there's plenty of low cost 3rd-party solutions out there.

I bought a "kingjet" brand toner on amazon for about $15 and so far it has worked well. Pick one that has a lot of good recent reviews and not just old reviews and they are all pretty cheap, not much more than the tn660.

It is supposed to have the updated chip but at the same time my 2395 was manufactured before oct 2018. October 2018 and newer need an updated chip from 3rd party toners.

Thats why I suggest getting one that has a lot of good current reviews from maybe the past 3-4 months only
