If you were charging your phone while using the aux, this is normal.

None of these devices have proper isolation, so you're always going to get cross talk.

The cheapest solution is to get a ground loop isolator for your aux cable: https://www.amazon.com/BESIGN-Gro...B06XQYN77L

Bought this unit a few weeks ago for $16 on Amazon, works great so far and had solid build quality.

This device pairs with your phone via bluetooth, and transmits an FM signal for your car to pick up on the radio.

So I am guessing the answer to your question is no.

Does this work for HD channels as well?

Bought this on Amazon about a month ago for $14. I Was debating between the Roav F0 ($14) and the Roav F2 ($24). The F0 Works fantastic in 2007 Trailblazer without Bluetooth and no auxiliary input. FM transmitter allows me to play music from my cellphone and make and receive hands free call and even send text messages (Siri). To my surprise or coincidence the Roav F0 I received from Amazon came preprogrammed with a static free radio station so all I had to do was tune my station to it (95.1) in my case . I'm so glad I got it and saved $10.

I returned the T1 and F0 due to static. When I plugged in an Aux cable it had a whine to it.

I think it have problem with the grounding. Most whine relate to the Aux is relate to the grounding and charging at the same time. Don't ask me why or how. laugh out loud

There is a thing called ground isolation.

That might not be an issue with the charger. It's very likely that it's just interference from the electrical system when plugging in a since device to both the power and aux ports.

This is a very common problem, just replace the aux cable with one that has a ground loop isolator or use a battery powered device that you don't plug in

How does this compare to the M-pow Mini Bluetooth Receiver? Only downside I could see is the M-power requires an hour to charge (but lasts 10.5 hours between charges).

I bought 2 last time it was on sale
One is in my 2004 Jeep and one is in my motorhome.
They work great. Better than the ones I bought a few yrs ago for $30.
Very clear sound. I love them.
If you need one, this is worth every penny.
Heck, it's cheaper than some 12 volt usb chargers.
I Bluetooth my amazon dot thru my main stereo in the motorhome. This is really clear sound.
