What is your definition of ''legit'' and ''fake''?

G skilll makes these and they are based off china, newegg is an official distributor for g-skill so they get them directly from g-skill.

The link shows its sold and shipped directly from newegg, if it was a 3rd party vendor ( who is not an official dealer or distributor) it may be a different story but its not.

A good portion of memory cards are made in china, this includes original , white label , and ''clones''.. and yes sandisk one of the most popular memory brands is also made in china.

You can always test your memory cards to make sure the space claimed is what is it is ; by using h2wtest. The software cannot tell if a card is ''fake'' just if doesn't have bad sectors.

Nutac is an official chinese brand of memory mostly known in asia, they are not ''fake'' because it is considered an official chinese brand, even memory cards with no brand at all are still not considered fake and instead just ''white label''.

Most people would consider fakes as someone trying to pass an official brand as an original product when it really isn't.

So in a nutshell based on the information i posted above, i have strong reason to believe that these cards are NOT ''fakes''

I've got one of these in my S9+ and it's never had any errors or issues, everything loads quick and problem free, as it should

you are a lucky soul. I went through 3 replacements of this before i finally got a refund and just went with a samsung card. one of them was doa and the other two just stopped working frequently even though it still showed as mounted and it got quite annoying.

It still puzzles me a bit that some people don't know or never heard of memory/hard drive devices reserving a bit of the storage when the item is formatted.

Some of the negative reviews are because of this, which are not good because it brings the rating down for something that a user is simply uninformed on.

Is this card legit? I know there's a bunch of China fake SD cards out there.

The crappiest SD card I've had so far is a Team card (32GB). Put it in my PSP, and two months later, it won't read it. So frustrated. "Thanks" for that, Newegg.
