I own 2 of these and while 12.99 is a very good price, these don't hold as much as you would think. Also, if you're storing anything else but cables or flat objects it can get very bulky very quick.

$13 for a nylon bag with some elastic bands? The minute this gets jostled in your suitcase, things are going to slip out of the elastic bands and then what do you have? All your junk in a cheap nylon bag.

Save your $13 and buy a nice Dopp kit. Men have used them for decades because they work. Women too.

They bands do a good job of holding things. But they just don't hold as much as you would think.

Can't tell from the photos, is there a back cover that zippers closed over the side with the elastic straps? Doesn't look like it, but it would be next to useless if there's no cover on that side.

Yup, this is a great "idea", but execution, there's a lot of unusable space between used bands just because of the way it's set up

I've never had a Cocoon, but I bought these and they work great. Kind of doubt there's a big difference.

Did anybody else see an old shaving-kit held together with duct-tape when they first looked at the picture?

gf got me this for a bday present last year. I loved it before I got a case for my switch because I fit literally everything (but the dock) on it. It's good if you know all the cords and small things you carry don't fit anywhere nice. I'm trying to figure out what else could go on here, besides cables/cards for DSLR or portable battery.

Got one and seemed cool in theory but a zip up bag is 10x better

I have the 12"x8" version. Heavier than I'd like.

If you only attach a couple things like some wires, then you're just wasting space since those wires could have just been bundled up in some existing pockets but instead are now attached to this rectangular anchor.

If you actually do fill up all the straps with stuff, you've just created a disorganized bulky anchor since all that stuff you just attached to it probably didn't make sense being attached to each other, other than to fill up those straps.

Did that make sense?

that price is outrageous. I got them free at a car show. If they're giving these away, they're not worth $12.
