I was able to score the multi color bulb for $15 at my local Walmart this weekend. Also got two dimmable white bulbs for $5 and a 2 pack of the WiFi plugs for $15. Definitely YMMV but it's worth checking

Meh. I only use Apple devices and HomeKit is so far behind and just weird to setup and use, and Siri is worthless half of the time, it's not something I go out of the way to get. TP-Link's app is top notch and I've been impressed with their products outlets and switches.

The two things I use Siri/HomeKit for once in awhile are garage door opening and closing and August deadbolt locks. Both only work about half of the time due to Siri being an idiot.

I switched from smart bulbs to smart light switches. Much better. You will never use colors except to show off

I was wondering same thing about color changing bulbs. Where are they that useful?

What did you say at customer support when you did the return and rebuy? Most Walmart's don't allow this. Thanks

Also curious to know as I believe every store got the memo years ago. I should know, I got turned down 3 times within the last 2 years.

Change it to red, lower it to 20%, put on Barry White, and play on!

Everyone who has tried HomeKit has never looked back. Never heard of this before.

Siri and HomeKit are miles ahead of anything else on the market.

I watched some Disney movies with my kids and changed the color to green for The Jungle Book and blue or red for Aladdin. Kids loved it! I'm also thinking of watching games on tv and changing to the color of our local teams while we watch.

Much cheaper to buy a switch than to replace 4 bulbs. Switches are way more dependable in my experience. Bulbs lose connection sometimes.

Wife and 2 kids all didnt like the bulbs because half the time you use the switch and half the time you use alexa so when the switch is off alexa doesnt work. Whereas with a switch with a neutral wire whether you push the single button (no toggle) or use alexa it works 100% of time. Much more practical

Save the money or use it on dimmer wifi switches and dimmer bulbs and still save some money
