Promoted brand. YMMV

When will the app start displaying STAFF next to the username like is visible on the website?
Easier to spot these affiliate deals when staff member status is disclosed.

May be promoted, but these lights are awesome. I've retrofitted around 50 halogen lights with these and I couldn't be happier. And this price is great. This is pretty much the cheapest I bought them and it was on prime day.

Except that in this case, the OP is described as a "novice" with only 271 posts (on the website). But as a member since only last month, yeah, suspicious.

Bought these at $65 recently. Used two under exterior soffit on front of house for more illumination. Worked great and were required given shallow depth. Give off great light and the 5k color matches my other 5k lights. Haven't had long enough to comment on reliability, but I have 4 replacements if they die.

I actually put in 30 of these...they work really well. They even work worth ge z-wave dimmer switches. The only problem I have is if I slide lower than 5% then they just turn off, which they write it doesn't support lower than 5%, just when I am doing a quick slide on my smartthings app. Haven't figured out how to cap it to not let me go under 5%.

I used this brand in the past for a few outdoor (covered) recessed LEDs, they have worked well for the past few years. I just bought them because they were cheap.

I have 12 of these zero issues, thin enough to put under a stud with my drywall thickness I recommend them.

There's a reason the Fakespot is F for Torchstar. I bought four of their 100W LED garage door opener bulbs, and it didn't take long for one to fail. Their remedy was that I should ship it back at my cost, and then they would potentially send a replacement (unfortunately it was outside the Amazon return window). After arguing the failure occurred so quickly and that wasn't reasonable to have me waste almost as much as the bulb in shipping costs on their problem, they offered to replace the bulb directly if I created a positive review - typical scam behavior that leads to artificially inflated ratings. Since that point, another bulb has failed - so literally half failed within a one year period (for bulbs costing $32 per 4). Buyer beware.

These pancake kits are around $30-50 each at Home Improvement stores and $30+ at lighting stores. We have begun to use these everywhere just Incase there is a beam or truss. Not sure about this brand but we have been buying similar off amazon for not much more.
