Remember when this was lifetime for $5-$15 😬

If you are thinking of buying this for your Windows machine, don't. Microsoft's built-in AV is just as good, already there and free for life. In fact, if you are familiar with Gartner, their magic quadrant for antivirus tools [csbtech.net] rates Microsoft better than MalwareBytes.

does this come with Internet security (anti-virus,...) or do we need to buy a different anti-virus software and install both?
TIA.

I wonder if I buy it now then can I install it 6 months from now & still get a year out of it
would it be ok to put the key on a shelf for 6 months? as this is a great price for it?

Yep. Bought it like 15 years ago. Then I got a notification a couple of months ago saying that my license was being used on multiple machines and so it was blacklisted -- even though I never shared it. Of course, I don't have my "receipt" anymore so I don't really have a leg to stand on.

Same here.. They are now trying to scrap all those lifetime keys one way or another and start milking these. Morons.

I'm due dec 18th. Can I buy now and wait or just wait until black Friday when it will be same price. And no last year I brought on black Friday active the card and it didn't extend me from one year due date was up. It only extend me from the time i activated the card. Maybe cause I was on a 6 month trail beforehand?

I still have my receipt on Newegg. Just get a screen shot and contact them. The bad thing about that though it shows the purchase but not the serial key. I even threw that one out Frown

Yeah and it worked on my desktop and laptop for years. A few months ago they didn't bother to tell me and locked one out. Looked more like a technical issue and spent time sending tech support messages back and forth for days till they finally said my code is for one device. Even though it worked for years on more. Not cool Malwarebytes

Dug up one of them -- 1/21/2013. It was a bundle deal with McAfee AV. I tossed the McAfee. I'm pretty sure I got another one long before that as well. Just can't find it on Newegg.

But like you, I can't locate the serial... after they blacklisted mine, I removed it and/or tried one from E-bay. Which lasted all of a couple of weeks (shocked).
