Funny, I just recently started playing on my x360 more (hooked up to the HDMI-in port of my X1) and was thinking about how underrated Abyss Odyssey is, and now here it is on sale for the first time in eons.

Normally, I'd think this would be a sign that it's going to go backcompat soon, but since they announced that program has all but halted, I suppose that can't be right.

I think i tried that once a long time ago, isn't there a lot of input lag when using the HDMI In port?

Not that I've noticed. I even have it running through an HDMI switcher box. I've been using it for the old Kinect games lately, I don't run into any noticeable issues that weren't already inherent in the system.

There's a lot of lag from the Xbox 360's interface in general, heh, compared to the X1 though. It feels like everything takes an eternity IME.

You're absolutely adding input lag and objectively doing things wrong. I've tested this myself; it's worthless for gaming. Do not do this.
No input lags in my end. HDMI ports even came w/ the console!

Man, I've been keeping my eyes on xBox digital deals waiting and hoping Fable II would pop up as I'd love to have that one digitally, but it never does!

Such a great game! All of the Fable games are on Gamepass I believe...(source [xbox.com]) sure you wouldn't own it but at least you can play it

I know right! Well, I own the disc, so I can play it, Id just like to have the digital version too for convenience. That and I refuse to pay more subscription costs to play games. They already got annual Live costs out of me and that was like pulling teeth!

So I'm new to using an Xbox. I don't have any live or gold subscriptions can I buy the Need for Speed games and play just by myself? Kind of like campaign style in BF4? Or do I need a subscription to even play the game?

I play on ps4. But yes it has a single player story mode. Payback does. Some of the other NFS dont.
