Anyone who buys this has a high chance of purchasing another SD's return.

I just ordered two from the last deal. Both were damaged. I hauled them to my local store for a hassle free return. They were poorly packaged. I'm not sure if I'd try again.

Be aware that some SDers who've bought these refurbished TCLs from Walmart have received ones with smashed screens. I lucked out and got a TV that only had a faulty remote but was otherwise fine, so YMMV.

They have a 90 day return policy, so worth the risk in my opinion.

Anyone know how much of a hassle it is to return? Do they pick up or do I have to haul it to a Walmart?

Great deal! I bought this brand new for $460 a few months ago, but the $110 in savings you get with this one is worth the potential hassle of a return.

Why not just choose store pick up + discount and inspect it in store first?

I haven't had any issues. I bought a 55" TCL openbox for $200 a few weeks ago and my kid smashed the screen with some high heat. Needless to say we returned it to Walmart with no issues. As always, YMMV.

Convenience. I had to make two trips as only one would fit in my car at a time.

If you can pickup, Ask if you are able to open the box and examine the TV screen for cracks at the store.

Since this is the 615 (best buy version) I'm guessing you get the IR remote. Can anyone confirm?

Also, if I bought the 617 remote could I use it with this 615?
