Cool looking but wicker rocking chair is steel construction, possible rust risk...

Walmart selling Mahogany? I seriously doubt it. At best it's a very thin veneer over pressboard.

Well, of course they would never lie. At best it's thin veneer over the lowest possible quality of wood that some would call pressboard. I guarantee you this is nowhere near solid mahogany.

Yup. Doubt they're "pressboard" per the speculator above. Looks more like they're cheap wood stained or painted (other mainstays styles) the colors. Probably poplar or some garbage wood from the southern hemisphere.

There are plenty of reviews on Mainstays rocking chairs out there around the $50 mark. They all say the same things, look okay, poorly made, but none are complaining about having veneers. I'd keep wood glue on deck for assembly and keep expectations low.

Can i use this in nursery? Any one has any experience with this chair - we hardly use a rocker for 20-30 mins but then its good to have a rocker in middle of the night

How do you define plenty? I searched "Mainstays rocking chair" and see one resin at $40, then these two, then a double rocker at $66 and a wrought iron one at $70. Lol.

Spray some t9 on it and good to go for awhile. If you do get rust, you can easily get it off with some marine rust remover and a rag.
