Not sure how hot of a deal this is, but seems to be the best price I've seen on this card in a couple weeks.

Yeah I'm pretty pissed. I ordered the MSI non-oc rx 590 a few nights ago for $180 and like a couple hours after I saw this offer. I totally would have paid 10 bucks more for sapphire and Devil May Cry.

Any major improvement or reason to upgrade over rx 580 (also sapphire)?

A RX 590 is basically a RX 580 that got a factory overclock & a different name.

The 590 is based on a 12nm chip instead of 14nm so there is a physical difference. It's not a reason to buy the 590 as a replacement for the 580, but if you have the choice, there are enough reasons to buy the 590 instead of the 580 if the cost difference isn't too much.

I went with this card at $200 several months ago and haven't regretted it. I upgraded from an ancient Radeon, and the visual difference was honestly amazing.

I'm looking at upgrading my PC, currently don't have a viable graphics card. This worth it? I see some msi rx 570 for $155 on amazon as an alternative. Don't game all that often, though I'd like to, just not sure what the best bang for the buck would be.

Best bang for buck is 570 at 120 without having to deal with rebate. If you are going to spend 155 on a 570 then I would say spend 40 more for the 590. Or get a used 1070 for 200 ish. But 570 for 120 is the real deal I believe the 580 is 10% faster and the 590 is 10% faster then that.
